Tonight, at a stop light, I pulled up behind a cadilac whos plates read 'DO DAH MAN'. I could not believe my eyes. Stealies just blazing on it as well.
I proceeded to ride next to him and tapped out the NFA
cadence on the horn. And he responded in unison. Wish we could have stopped and talked. Oh well,
Dont look back, you can never look back...

Goes to show, you dont ever know (that)
WE ARE EVERYWHERE

carry on and Luke 2:14 to those who need it

I did a double take today in the park, too - Jerry was grinning at me off somebody's bumper sticker - was in a hurry and couldn't take a closer look, but yes, we are everywhere!!

I have no idea what that reply was about, but I FUCKING
loved it. Just what I needed before heading to the Rock
and Roll hall of fame today to check out the G Dead exhibit
before 'those other days are gone'...
Sounds like Emmylou in the backing vocals. Yes?
Have a greatful weekend all :)

It is indeed Emmylou and it was a veiled reference to your passage from Luke - and those that follow. Enjoy the RNR HOF and GD exhibit; haven't been there in over a decade but they had some really, really cool stuff there.

That's crazy! I'm home in Ohio visiting my parents for an early Christmas and we are going up there tomorrow! Enjoy your day, it sounds like a great exhibit and if it's your first time I hope you planned the whole day to stay there and soak it all in.

Just gonna respond to you first since you are going up
there today. Browns vs Redskins? Good luck parking!
I had to explain to a couple wearing RG3 skins uniforms
that people up there are not as nice as me and warned them
of potential ass beating. Hope Balmer is treating you well
and Im sure you will run into a few people from the DC
beltway and prolly Charm City.

BTW~ been there so many times I only parused the main bottom
floor; mostly to see Elvis stuff, Joplins car, John Paul
Jones 1973 onion embellished tour wear, and Steven Tylers
second grade-ish hand written lyrics to a song that made
millions (always makes me laugh, and cry)

On a personal note. Its the hand written lyric that just
kills me. Block letter, or cursive. People were just
staring at me as I closed my ears to the surrounding music,
so that I could focus in on the song on a sheet of paper
in front of me. It really lets you in on what that person
was writing at the time; from Pig Pen to Alice In Chains,
to Chuck Berry (his are fucking great, smallest lettering
ever; like he was leasing his pen) And again Steven Tylers
misspelled simple words.

Get ready to be a foot away from:
Rosebud (enter the "aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh" moment as in church)
Top Hat
WOS cabinets and speakers of 74
Hand drawn Tix requests
1974 news letters
Mickey 1979 Sonor Kit
Brents B3
Jerrys 1976 Travis Bean
Lightning Bolt
Pig Pen congas circa 1968
1976 Rhodes electric piano used by Keith and Brent
Pepto (Pinkie) 1987
Phils 79 Modulus and McIntosh 2300 Amps (in case W/stickers)
Wolf Junior
Phils 85 6 string Module
Mickey 1991 drum set (again people stared as I bowed to it)
Bobs increadibly BEAUTIFUL 1976 Ubanez
Donna dresses
Uncle BOBOs 1978 Father Time Robe
Latvalas 1980 open-reel tape machine
counterfit tickets
Master Tape Canister from Europe 1972
Gold recoeds
The Tridents from the "hell in a bucket video" (for the
love of god)
1970 PortChester Hand bill
'Whatever it is" test from 1966 (one of my favs)

Dozens and dozens and dozens of things that I could list.

Im gonna stop there. You will get the picture Im sure.
Having a great experince there is gonna be easy for you.
I would suggest you go straight to the top floors and
then go down. Recoop, and then go back up again. The
songs, sounds and even the little light show are top notch.

Dont forget to hit the Dead Section merch and drop thousands
of US Blues Dollars.
Im not telling you something you dont already know, so
enjoy it buddy. Hit us back here with some of your take on it when you can.

Enjoy YOUR day. And I hope you and your parents have
grateful holidaze.
And spoiler alert: most of the workers at the RnR Hall
are pretty rude up there. I mean if you were a 19 year
old American/African person forced to wear a Greatful Dead tee shirt, how would you feel??? Just a warning. Let us know how it goes. Oh and you can get away with snapping
some pix if you are stealthy about it (wink wink).

Gonna post some pix ,response and stuff later
